How it works
The Swirl Injection Principle delivers high-pressure cylinder oil into the scavenge air swirl, ensuring:
- Uniform oil film on the upper liner
- Reduced friction and wear
- Lower oil consumption – typically ~0.5 g/kWh
The SIP+ valve builds on this, adding:
- No liner machining or top cover removal
- Dual-fuel and thin oil compatibility
- Full compatibility with existing lubrication systems
